We are pleased to announce the I GET YOU project, an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at developing and providing innovative tools for promoting gender equality in youth work. This 12-month collaboration between Søholm 4H (Denmark) and Asociación Las Niñas del Tul (Spain) has resulted in a Toolbox designed to support youth workers, educators, and organizations in fostering inclusive and diverse learning environments.
What Is the ‘I GET YOU’ Project?
This project focuses on creating interactive and engaging materials to address gender equality in youth work. By integrating gamification and non-formal education approaches, we ensure that the tools are practical, accessible, and relevant to young people today.
The Toolbox: Available Now!
The I GET YOU project has successfully developed a comprehensive Toolbox featuring:
- Drederik, a simulation game that allows participants to experience different gender-related challenges in a real-world context.
- Walk of Life, an interactive exercise designed to explore privilege and gender roles through experiential learning.
- Spicy Discussions, a structured activity that encourages open and thought-provoking conversations about gender equality in a safe and inclusive environment.
These tools are now available for youth organizations, educators, and NGOs looking to integrate innovative gender equality methodologies into their programs. Whether you are a youth worker, an activist, or an educator, these resources can support your efforts in promoting inclusion and diversity.
